Free climbing
Free climbing is all about ascending an obstacle, whether it be a rock face (the free climbing obstacle par excellence, and the one that has provided the greatest impetus for the development of the sport), a boulder, an artificial panel or any urban structure. The term "free climbing" denotes the style of climbing in which the climbers use only their hands and feet to conquer the obstacle, with no additional accoutrements. |
